Overview:
Consolidated Edison is currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Online Call Center Manager to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a part-time position with mid-to-senior level seniority, the Online Call Center Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our online call center, ensuring customer service excellence and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of online customer service representatives
- Develop and implement strategies to improve call center performance and customer satisfaction
- Monitor and analyze call center metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Train and mentor call center staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery
- Maintain accurate records of call center activities and performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a call center or customer service role, with at least 3 years in a managerial position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Proficiency in call center software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in online customer service management is a plus
