Overview:

Consolidated Edison is currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Online Call Center Manager to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a part-time position with mid-to-senior level seniority, the Online Call Center Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our online call center, ensuring customer service excellence and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of online customer service representatives
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve call center performance and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze call center metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Train and mentor call center staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records of call center activities and performance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a call center or customer service role, with at least 3 years in a managerial position
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  •  Proficiency in call center software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in online customer service management is a plus
