Full Job Description:
We are seeking an Inpatient medical coder with 5-6 years of experience particularly in the domain of Medical Coding and Multi-specialists mainly with IP skills. This role is pivotal in enhancing our healthcare services efficiency and accuracy ensuring our operations align with industry standards and contribute significantly to patient care and medical research.
Roles & Responsibilities
- – Analyze and interpret patient medical records to accurately code diagnoses and procedures.
- – Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and coding guidelines.
- – Collaborate with healthcare professionals to verify the accuracy of coding and billing processes.
- – Utilize specialized medical coding software to assign appropriate codes.
- – Stay updated with the latest changes in medical coding practices and guidelines.
- – Conduct audits to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.
- – Provide training and support to new coders and healthcare staff on coding standards.
- – Optimize coding processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- – Participate in coding and billing process improvement initiatives.
- – Maintain confidentiality of patient information by HIPAA regulations.

- CCS PREFERRED BUT REQUIRED CREDENTIAL FROM AHIMA OR AAPC
