The role reports to the manager of Trade Compliance Standards
Location: Skillman, NJ (Kenvue’s corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.)
What you will do
The Lead, NA Trade Compliance Standard is responsible for the implementation of the NA Regional Trade Compliance standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures effective integration of global trade compliance processes and standards within the region
- Provides process support to the local Trade Compliance Operations team
- Builds exceptional partnerships and relationships across affiliate/regional/global teams to scout business opportunities and translate them into solutions
- Partners to support Trade Compliance projects, programs, or initiatives cross-company ensuring new standards are understood and deployed
- Maintain and update regional processes related to internal and external changes and new regulations
- Support regional implementation of import and export data and technology solutions
- Measure and govern regional third-party providers per global process and scorecards
- Monitor and execute metrics for measuring compliance and operational performance
- Informs on capability gaps to improve efficiency and define how to address
- Advise business on evolving and existing import and export trade regulations
What we are looking for
Position Requirements:
- University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
- 6 Years of Work Experience
- Experience in the application of trade and customs regulations to a global enterprise
- Prior experience with global trade management systems such as SAP GTS, E2Open, or similar systems
- Experience developing processes and measuring trade compliance KPIs and metrics, to track the success of the different TC programs
- Experience interacting and collaborating with teams across business functions and regions is preferred
- The successful candidate will have a positive approach, excellent strategic and analytical skills as well as strong interpersonal skills, and be comfortable when interacting with senior business leaders
Preferred Requirements/Competencies:
- Advanced degree with global trade certification preferred
