Full Job Description:
The analytics engineer is responsible for developing and supporting analytical solutions for the enterprise. The ideal candidate is an experienced individual who enjoys leveraging data skills to analyze and solve complex problems. The individual should be comfortable bringing innovative ideas to the team and demonstrating strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be comfortable supporting and training business users as needed. Must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams.
Responsibilities
- Understand and translate business requests to viable and value-added data solution opportunities.
- Provide innovative approaches to designing and implementing end-to-end solutions, leveraging diverse sets of data from various applications and sources.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data presented in the visuals. Troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Maintains Data Governance artifacts, including system health metrics, data catalog, policies, standards, processes, and best practices.
- Work with diverse teams at various levels, from business users to executives and with IT peers. Train/support business users as needed.
- Ensure Data and Analytics compliance with enterprise data security policies.
- Adhere to IT architecture standards and contribute to improving standards and processes within the team.
- Guide team members on emerging technology trends in data and analytics.
- Stay updated with the latest features, updates, and best practices.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.

- Design and development experience in data & analytic applications such as PowerBI, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Design and development experience in data modeling and warehousing using SQL, Python, DBT, Snowflake, SAP, or any equivalent technology.
- Ability to proactively engage and collaborate with global and local teams as well as across technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical subjects to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in the field of computer science or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience building and supporting data and analytic solutions.
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies – Microsoft Fabric/PowerBI, Azure, SAP Hana, Snowflake, SQL, Python, DBT or equivalents.
- Experience with ML/AI or any advanced analytics is a plus.
- Familiarity with data cataloging or data governance tools is a plus.
